The fashion prints came about after experimenting with a Gelli plate, magazine pages and mixed media. As with other designs, the pulled print is put into Photoshop to make a more individual creation. These can be found on the print to order organic t-shirts and tote bags, as well as an A4 print.
Fabric designs usually start life as a mixed media paint experiment and my nature photography. Again, these are manipulated in Photoshop, often with tropical or vintage designs added, a lot of them with as many as 100 layers. Each layer is individually adjusted until I am happy with the outcome. Some pieces end up as a one off design while others become a repeat pattern.
